Alexandra Sala, LMSW

Life can present challenges and difficulties working through a variety of transitions, decisions, relationships and traumas. Anxiety and depression is more prevalent now than ever. Whether it is a pattern of difficult relationships, self doubt and low self esteem, self medicating or a dissatisfaction with life circumstances, change and healing is possible. I believe that therapy is a collaborative experience and I work with each client to find a style that works best for them. I do more than just listen. I make observations, offer feedback and engage actively in sessions.

I focus on a person-centered, strengths-based approach, utilizing techniques from a variety of evidence-based modalities. I also incorporate a psychodynamic approach that helps clients find the root and deeper understanding of their patterns and behaviors. My goal is to create an environment of support, validation, and a safe place to make realizations.

I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental space for self-exploration & healing. By utilizing positive acceptance, my goal is to help clients add to their social and emotional knowledge so they can navigate through difficulties in ways that foster self-esteem, well-being, and growth. Taking the first step is not always easy but we can take this journey together.
